Helping Hands Nursery is a fully inclusive setting with disabled access to the play room, based at Bramley Family Support Project.
All children have a Key worker and all our staff are experienced and friendly. We have spaces for children aged 6 months—8 years.
Working in partnership with Bramley Family Support Project, Hough Lane, Bramley, Leeds..
Play sessions run on a child-led self serve basis with parts of the session being adult led. This includes such things as circle times and small group activities.
We encourage children to be independent through having all activities and equipment easily accessible for them.
We promote equality of opportunity by catering to each child's individual needs, we have a special needs coordinator. The setting is fully disabled accessible.
Curriculums used are for under three’s; Birth to Three Matters,Over 3s the Foundation stage ELG, (this is in accordance with Ofsted and Government guidelines)
Welcome Procedure
As part of our settling in procedure we encourage you to bring your child for a visit before being left alone in our care. Parents are encouraged to stay with their child until they feel ready to leave them.
Children under three years must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Potty training, whilst we would prefer children to be potty trained, it is not essential. Please speak to a member of staff if you have any concerns about your child's needs regarding toileting, as we are very sympathetic to individual needs
Your child may bring a comforter or blanket. This needs to be labelled with your child's name to avoid disaster!
You will be required to complete a registeration form and sign a contract . These are for our information only, are kept confidential and will not be passed on to other agencies without your permission.
